Brazil wins bronze medal at Taekwondo World Championships in Mexico
It was its first medal in Guadalajara

Brazilian Milena Titoneli won bronze in the Taekwondo World Championship, in Guadalajara (Mexico), in the category up to 67 kilos. It was the first time Brazil climbed the podium in this edition, which runs until Sunday (Nov. 20). It is the athlete's second bronze in world championships. The first one she won in 2019, in Manchester (England).
Mexican Leslie Soltero won gold, Serbian Aleksandra Perisic silver, and Spaniard Cecilia Burgos the second bronze.
The Brazilian delegation has a total of 16 athletes in the World Championships. Two of them also competed on Tuesday (15), namely Caroline Gomes (62kg), disqualified in the round of 16, and Ícaro Miguel (87kg), eliminated in the opening round.
