Boxing: Brazilians move to quarterfinals in Sofia, Bulgaria

Fighting in the category above 92 kilos, Abner Teixeira has beaten Australian Teremoana Junior Teremoana. This was the second triumph for the Brazilian, who maintained a long unbeaten streak that began in 2021. Now he will face Frenchman Dini Djamili. The fight is scheduled for this Thursday (23).

Olympic medalist Beatriz Ferreira started her tournament by beating Chinese Yang Chengyu by a unanimous decision. Now, she will face Indian Simranjit Kaur Baatth, in a fight scheduled for Friday (24).
