Brazilian presidential candidate Ciro Gomes is likely to be discharged from hospital today (Sep. 26), if his condition continues good, said Sírio-Libanês Hospital, in São Paulo. No time has been estimated for his release.
Ciro was re-examined in the morning, after having veins in his prostrate cauterized Tuesday (25). He had shown spontaneous bleeding in his urine, linked to a benign growth in his prostrate.
Gomes’s staff reported that the candidate will need to undergo further evaluation in order to prevent similar incidents.
